This beautiful Beloved session by Beth Fernley Photography took place in Sydney, Australia. What makes this session even more special is that the couple, Fi & Bobby, are Beloved photographers themselves. As you can see from the words below, being on the other side of the camera can be a powerful (and educational!) experience for photographers, and we think everyone who gets a chance should try what a session feels like for their clients.
From the couple:
‘This was the first time, other than our wedding, that Bobby and I have found ourselves on the other side of the camera. We take photos of one another constantly, but having another person capturing frames of the two of us was initially a daunting feeling. We couldn’t have been further from the truth. We have both been through quite a challenging time and although we are firmly united, this session gave us a few hours out of what had become “routine” to actually see, hear and feel the other through the words of love. We both heard words which we craved to hear and those that we didn’t know the other felt. We have always considered ourselves to be mindful and attentive to the other but this experience gave us something that encapsulated our love in the most beautiful way.’
